  Being a recent fan of the books, this movie will not disappoint as it captures the essence of the book and keeps it interesting and suspenseful.

  I have not read any of the Potter books, so I cannot begin to discuss how faithful the film is to the written word. As a film, the one thing that stood out for me was the pace of the film, it seemed to move very quickly and before we knew it the end of Part One had arrived, which also came rather suddenly. It definitely sets up what should be a thrilling conclusion in Part Two.

  The beginning and the end of the movie was good but it got really boring in the middle. Just a lot of scenery and walking with not too much dialogue. But it did have its funny moments relativily easy to follow. I haven't read the books but I did enjoy it.
